Alex stated that this governance system is not a multi-signature system, "All planned upgrades are initiated directly on-chain by a community of over 370,000 ZK token holders, rather than by a foundation or a small group of trusted actors."Solana co-founder Toly raised questions under the article, stating that although ZKsync claims it is not a multi-signature system, it still fundamentally relies on the honest majority assumption, which means it is essentially similar to a multi-signature system.Toly further stated that unlike Solana, ZKsync's governance system has potential centralization risks. In Solana, even if enough validators reach consensus, a single full node from Circle (the issuer of USDC) can reject invalid state transitions, thereby protecting the system from malicious actions. ZKsync's "professional security committee" may face legal risks, as if enough committee members are ordered by a U.S. bankruptcy judge, they may be forced to place all cross-chain assets under the control of a bankruptcy trust.

ChainCatcher news, ZKsync officially launches its on-chain governance system, which consists of three main bodies: the Token Holder Assembly, the Security Committee, and the Guardians.The Token Holder Assembly allows token holders and representatives to directly submit and vote on protocol upgrades on-chain.The Security Committee is composed of technical experts responsible for reviewing and approving protocol upgrades, and has the authority to freeze the protocol in emergencies.The Guardians ensure that governance proposals align with the values of the ZK creed.The governance system supports three types of proposals: ZKsync Improvement Proposals (ZIPs), Token Plan Proposals (TPPs), and Governance Advisory Proposals (GAPs).

This proposal will allow BLAST holders to earn points on the mainnet, which can now be viewed and discussed on the Blast Foundation forum. Blast governance will enable the community to actively contribute to the development of the Blast ecosystem, allowing BLAST holders to propose, debate, and vote on protocol upgrades, the composition supported by USDB, ETH liquid staking providers, fees, and other factors.Blast governance is designed as a checks and balances system, providing governance rights to BLAST holders while enabling rapid progress, with decision-making at a higher level by the Token Committee and the Progress Committee. ChainCatcher news, the cross-chain interoperability platform Wormhole announced on social media that it is collaborating with DAO governance infrastructure Tally and crypto company ScopeLift to establish the industry's first multi-chain governance system, MultiGov, which will soon be available for DAOs on Solana, Ethereum mainnet, and EVM L2. The W token will be the first token to implement MultiGov. Wormhole DAO will be the first to adopt MultiGov, enabling W holders to create, vote, and execute governance proposals on any supported chain.It is reported that the goal of MultiGov is to achieve: activity (meeting community members where they are), accessibility (by lowering gas fees, allowing all token holders to participate), accessibility (enabling token holders to vote on any chain), and flexibility (allowing DAOs to easily expand to new networks).

A total of 1,122,272 AAVE participated in this vote, with a support rate of 100%. The upgrade will be executed within 7 days.It is reported that the proposal suggests migrating Aave Governance v2.5 to v3, transferring all permissions from the v2 system to v3, and executing all necessary smart contract upgrades and various miscellaneous preparations.

ChainCatcher message, Gavin Wood and Joe Petrowski from the Web3 Foundation initiated RFC-32, proposing to migrate the logic of multiple subsystems from the relay chain to "system parachains." These "system chains" will form the entire Polkadot network alongside the relay chain. If the state transitions of the relay chain can occur on the parachains, it will free up some resources; the portion of validator resources originally used for relay chain state transitions can be repurposed, thus providing more core time for the network, i.e., more block space. It is reported that the identity, staking, and governance systems will be the first to migrate to the system parachains.

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, the Klaytn Foundation, one of the main developers and code maintainers of the South Korean blockchain platform Klaytn, is making changes to the Klaytn network governance system and the economic model of the native KLAY token. The Klaytn Foundation will collaborate with the Klaytn Governance Committee to help transition the Klaytn blockchain to a fully permissionless validator structure, providing opportunities for the public to participate as block validators and introducing a communication channel for Klaytn community members to engage in the decision-making process.In addition, the Foundation will disclose the on-chain voting agenda and status of the Governance Committee in real-time through the governance protocol Klaytn Square, enhancing governance transparency.
