The Klaytn Foundation will announce a new proposal for the KLAY token economic model and governance system on February 28
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, the Klaytn Foundation, one of the main developers and code maintainers of the South Korean blockchain platform Klaytn, is making changes to the Klaytn network governance system and the economic model of the native KLAY token. The Klaytn Foundation will collaborate with the Klaytn Governance Committee to help transition the Klaytn blockchain to a fully permissionless validator structure, providing opportunities for the public to participate as block validators and introducing a communication channel for Klaytn community members to engage in the decision-making process.
In addition, the Foundation will disclose the on-chain voting agenda and status of the Governance Committee in real-time through the governance protocol Klaytn Square, enhancing governance transparency. The Foundation will submit a revised tokenomics proposal to the Governance Committee early this week, with the final agenda and proposal to be announced on February 28 along with the 2023 technical roadmap.
