Optimism plans to introduce a governance system in Season 5 and establish the Optimism Security Committee

ChainCatcher news, Optimism will introduce a governance system in Season 5. The Collective will launch the "Citizens' House" and conduct the first round of "Joint House" voting. Additionally, the Optimism Security Committee will be established, consisting of a group of community members tasked with executing protocol upgrades according to governance intentions.

Optimism also plans to introduce an initial process for voting allocation of protocol revenue in Season 6, which may include the establishment of a Finance Committee responsible for providing high-level recommendations to the governance layer on how to allocate resources; moving some content on-chain, allowing governors to fully initiate transactions on-chain to transfer tokens from the OP treasury.
