io.net CEO: The IO token will still be launched as planned, and the network will continue to improve based on community feedback
ChainCatcher news, Ahmad Shadid, founder and CEO of the Solana ecosystem DePIN protocol io.net, released an analysis of the event report from April 27 on social media, stating, "In the past 120 hours, io.net has been working to expel the witch attackers from the network, launching multiple security patches and establishing a new security model to prevent future incidents. The network infrastructure is now fully operational and functioning normally."In addition, Ahmad Shadid stated, "io.net is a team of over 100 people, working to clean up false GPUs and make the metrics displayed in the user interface clearer. io.net prioritizes security and stability, and operates in a transparent manner. Our business team is currently coordinating the network restart efforts, prioritizing vendor relationships, and working to restore network supply as soon as possible. We will still launch IO Cloud v2 and IO tokens as planned. This attack has been a painful lesson for me, and I apologize to the community. Most of the criticisms received by io.net are reasonable, and we will continue to improve the network based on community feedback."
