The Arbitrum development team Offchain Labs will launch a defense mechanism against sequencer witch attacks
ChainCatcher message, the Arbitrum development team Offchain Labs is developing a defense mechanism titled "Add Relay Client Connection Randomness" to prevent MEV searchers from executing witch attacks on sequencers. This mechanism requires that the random numbers must be unique among different clients, and the relay will broadcast messages to clients in descending order of the random number target value, with the client having the highest random number target value receiving the message the fastest. If two connected random number target values are the same, then the client with the lower hash value will receive the broadcast first, and then propagate it to other relays. (source link)
