ChainCatcher news, a new report from blockchain risk monitoring company Solidus Labs shows that from January 1, 2022, to December 1, 2022, fraudsters deployed over 117,000 scam tokens on-chain, a 41% increase compared to the entire year of 2021. Of these, 8% came from Ethereum and 12% from BNB Chain.It is reported that the number of cryptocurrencies tracked by CoinMarketCap has exceeded 22,000, but many existing tokens do not meet the listing guidelines of the website.
