The Web3 data storage solution KYVE mainnet is now live
ChainCatcher news, the KYVE mainnet, a Web3 data storage solution, is now live and has proposed another innovative solution based on the Cosmos SDK to enhance the developer experience, aiming to make data a trustless public good. The KYVE blockchain is divided into two layers: the chain layer and the protocol layer. The chain layer is the backbone of KYVE, protecting the network through DPoS, governing and maintaining the overall structure. The protocol layer acts as a decentralized data pool, where protocol nodes can participate in acquiring, storing, and validating data.On March 21, the governance proposal supporting inflation for KYVE will be passed, ensuring that the KYVE mainnet is more complete and secure. The next step is to launch the KYVE token. Meanwhile, the KYVE data pipeline is also live, with the first data pool expected to launch on the testnet and mainnet in 6-8 weeks. During this period, the data pipeline will continue to extract data from the KYVE development network Korellia's data pool.According to the crypto data platform RootData, KYVE completed a $9 million funding round at a $100 million valuation in June 2022, with investments from IOSG Ventures, Distributed Global, M-Ventures, and others. The tasks for the first and second quarters of 2023 include audits, Oracle Beta version, Genesis Validator program, and mainnet launch (by the end of Q1). The tasks for the third and fourth quarters include donation programs, grant programs, Web App V3 version, KYVE 2.0, and more. (source link)
