ZachXBT: GCR X account hacked or related to the team behind the meme coin CAT
ChainCatcher news, on social media, on-chain detective ZachXBT stated that the team behind the Solana ecosystem meme coin CAT may be related to the perpetrators behind the theft of the GCR X account last night.According to ZachXBT's analysis, the team behind CAT controlled 63% of the supply by buying in at a low price after launching the token, selling over $5 million worth of CAT, and then transferring the profits to multiple wallets. The address starting with M54x obtained approximately 15,000 SOL (about $2.5 million) from the CAT sell-off and began depositing funds into Kucoin (4.8K SOL) and MEXC (4.8K SOL and 1.4 million USDC) on May 25.Shortly after the M54x address withdrew to CEX, addresses starting with 0x23b and 0x91f also made similar amounts of withdrawals on two trading platforms on Ethereum and Arbitrum. On May 25 at 5:22 PM (UTC), the address starting with 0x23bc transferred 650,000 USDC to the address starting with 0x5e3 and deposited it into Hyperliquid for trading. Between 5:45 PM (UTC) and 5:56 PM (UTC) on May 26, the address starting with 0x5e3 opened a $2.3 million ORDI long position, and then closed it between 5:56 PM and 6:00 PM (UTC) after the "GCR Twitter theft shout-out ORDI incident," making a profit of approximately $34,000.
