The decentralized ZK-RaaS platform Opside will launch its Pre-Alpha testnet in Q2, with plans to go live on the mainnet next year
ChainCatcher news, at the 2023 Hong Kong Web3 Carnival "Web3 Technology Infrastructure: Layer 2 Networks" forum, NanFeng, co-founder and CEO of the decentralized ZK-RaaS platform Opside, delivered a speech titled "Opportunities and Challenges of RaaS."NanFeng stated that the development of public chains has currently transitioned from the multi-chain era to the multi-Rollup era. Opside has completed a seed round of financing of 4 million USD and is currently advancing in an orderly manner according to the latest technical roadmap. Opside will launch its Pre-Alpha testnet in Q2 of this year, while continuously completing the preliminary construction of the three-layer architecture and ecological projects, with plans to officially launch the mainnet next year.As a platform focused on ZK-Rollup as a service (ZK-RaaS), Opside has designed a three-layer architecture based on base chain + based rollup + decentralized prover to address challenges such as Rollup still being limited by underlying L1, lack of sovereignty in applications, data availability layers, lack of security and decentralization, and the need for project parties to build their own ZKP computing capabilities. Additionally, it has innovatively introduced a hybrid consensus mechanism of PoS + PoW.
