This article lists 7 projects worth seizing in 2024, including: Mingpai airdrop, market-focused traffic projects, and testnet phase projects.

On February 20, Starknrt opened its airdrop claim, and on the same day, the token was listed on major exchanges, with the price soaring to $7 at one point, allowing many to earn a significant income from STRK.

Those who have participated in Starknet are looking for the next Alpha project.

Those who missed this opportunity hope not to miss the next one.

In 2024, which projects are worth our time and effort to engage with?

In this article, we will list 7 projects worth seizing in 2024. Most of these projects are potential airdrop projects that the market is looking forward to; some are confirmed airdrop projects, while others are still in the testnet phase, allowing for zero-cost interactions.

Confirmed Airdrop Projects

Linea

Linea is a zk-rollup designed by ConsenSys R&D and operated by ConsenSys. It allows developers to deploy any smart contract, use any tools, and develop as if building on Ethereum. For users, this makes the Ethereum experience and security guarantees possible, but with lower transaction costs.

Linea has launched several rounds of Odyssey events and recently introduced Linea Park. Users can earn LXP by completing tasks on Linea. Before participating in the Linea Odyssey, one must prove their identity through POH: https://poh.linea.build/. Although POH is cumbersome, it indirectly reflects that the probability of being targeted by witches after passing POH should be greatly reduced.

Kroma

Kroma is a general-purpose ZK Rollup based on the Optimism Bedrock architecture, developed by Lightscale. Initially, Kroma used a Scroll-based zkEVM, operating as an Optimistic Rollup with ZK fault proofs. Kroma's goal is to eventually transition to ZK Rollup once the generation of ZK proofs becomes more cost-effective and faster. Kroma is deployed on the Sepolia testnet for further testing and optimization.

The Korean team's L2 project has announced its tokenomics: a token launch is expected in 2024, with 7% of the total token supply allocated to the community.

In January, a 9-week Odyssey event just concluded. Friends who missed it can supplement their on-chain records based on the Odyssey task design:

  • Official Cross-Chain Bridge: Click to enter Kroma's official website, click on the Bridge in the navigation bar, and experience the official cross-chain bridge by transferring any amount from the Ethereum mainnet to Kroma.
  • Ecosystem Cross-Chain Bridge: Experience cross-chain bridges that support the Kroma ecosystem. In previous Odyssey events, Owlto Finance was recommended. If Owlto also issues tokens, interacting with it could provide opportunities for rewards, achieving two goals at once. After completing the interaction, you can log into the TaskOn platform to verify task completion and have a chance to receive Owlto's Valentine's Day reward. In this event, Owlto has introduced a points system, so try to complete as many tasks as possible to earn more points.
  • Create LP: You can create LP on iZUMi, which requires at least 3 days.
  • Purchase Domain: Buy a domain on hypermarke.
  • Discord Role: Obtaining a Discord role is relatively easy, providing some protection.

Potential Projects

Scroll

Scroll is Ethereum's native zkEVM Layer 2 solution. It achieves native compatibility with existing Ethereum applications and tools. Scroll handles off-chain transactions and publishes concise correctness proofs on-chain. This results in higher throughput and lower costs compared to the Ethereum base layer.

LayerZero

LayerZero is a cross-chain interoperability protocol designed for lightweight messaging across chains. LayerZero provides trusted and guaranteed messaging with configurable trustlessness.

zkSync

zkSync is a Layer 2 scaling solution developed by Matter Labs, leveraging the latest generation of succinct zero-knowledge proofs to retain the security properties of the underlying blockchain. All funds in zkSync are held by smart contracts on the main chain, while computation and storage are executed off-chain. For each Rollup block, a state transition zero-knowledge proof (SNARK) is generated and verified by the main chain contract. This SNARK includes validity proofs for each transaction in the Rollup block.

These three projects have been referred to as top-tier projects alongside Starknet. Currently, Starknet has issued tokens, performing well in price, and we will see how these three projects perform in the future. There are countless interaction tutorials for these three projects online, and the strategies for supplementing transactions are quite rich.

According to Starknet's rules, when interacting, pay attention to: active duration (preferably more than 3 active months); wallet balance.

If there are many addresses, you can use a data query tool to check for any omissions. There are many data query tools available online; this is just an example.

Testnet Projects

Berachain

Berachain is a DeFi-based EVM-compatible L1 built on the Cosmos SDK, supported by liquidity consensus proof.

With a valuation of $420 million and $42 million in funding led by Polychain, Berachain announced the launch of the Artio public testnet on January 11. Just a few days after its launch, the number of addresses surpassed 1 million.

  • Claiming Water: Initially, users could claim 1 test token every 8 hours, but this has recently decreased to 0.1. Given the many projects in the Berachain ecosystem, there are instances where test tokens are insufficient, so it's necessary to ensure daily claims to maintain subsequent interactions.
  • According to the categories on the Berachain official website, interaction types can be divided into: Swap (BEX), Liquidity Provision (BEX), Governance (BGT Station), Mint (Honey), Lending (Bend), Trading (Berps).

  • Swap & Provide Liquidity: In BEX, click Swap, exchange some BERA for STGUSDC and HONEY (you can exchange for others, but for subsequent Honey operations, it's recommended to exchange some for STGUSDC); click Pool, select the trading pair, and provide liquidity.
  • Mint: In Honey, mint STGUSDC into HONEY (currently only STGUSDC is supported for minting).
  • Lending: Complete in Bend, which is currently upgrading and has paused functionality.
  • Trading: Enter BERPS, currently supporting BTC, ETH, ATON, and TIA contracts. Please ensure you have 10 HONEY in your account before opening contracts.
  • You can keep an eye on the quest updates on The Honey Jar, complete the tasks inside, and corresponding badges will be issued when the tasks end.
  • Domain Creation: Create a domain at Beraname.
