Manhattan Judge Jed Rakoff officially approved a permanent injunction against all "MetaBirkin" NFT sales on June 23. Hermès initially filed a request to prohibit all "MetaBirkin" NFT sales in the Southern District of New York in March. It is reported that the MetaBirkin series consists of 100 NFTs of Birkin-style handbags, and Mason Rothschild has reportedly made over $1 million in sales from the project.Previous report, the case against digital artist Mason Rothschild for NFT trademark infringement was heard in January this year.
