Hermès filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York a year ago, claiming that the "MetaBirkin" NFTs launched and sold by Mason Rothschild violate trademark law, as the related NFT digital images are based on Hermès' most iconic Birkin handbag.
