The total fines amount to approximately 5.2 million USD.

In response, the X platform announced on August 17 that it would cease operations in Brazil, but the social media service would remain available to all Brazilian users.It is reported that earlier this year, Musk claimed that Moraes was taking "illegal" and secret measures to force content moderation on X. Moraes, on the other hand, alleged that X allows the promotion of "misinformation" about the Brazilian government on its social media site.
