Web3 and social gaming publisher Carry1st completes $27 million funding, led by BITKRAFT Ventures
ChainCatcher news, according to TechCrunch, African Web3 and social gaming publisher Carry1st has completed a $27 million funding round, led by BITKRAFT Ventures, with participation from a16z, TTV Capital, Alumni Ventures, Lateral Capital, Kepple Ventures, and Konvoy.It is reported that Carry1st is developing a testing platform called Play1st, which allows gamers interested in Web3 games to discover games on the platform, comment within the community, and showcase achievements and rewards.Additionally, according to the crypto data platform RootData, Carry1st announced last January that it had completed a $20 million Series A funding round, led by a16z, with participation from Avenir, Google’s parent company Alphabet, Riot Games, Konvoy Ventures, Raine Ventures, and TTV Capital. The funds raised will be used to further expand product development in Africa.
