ChainCatcher news, MMO game Cambria announces the completion of a $2.5 million seed round financing, led by 1kx and BITKRAFT Ventures, with participation from Delphi Ventures co-founder Piers Kicks, Hype Investments founder hype, Delphi Ventures co-founder Tommy, BACKED co-founder Alex Brunicki, and others.
The raised funds will be used to create an "MMO" online game inspired by Runescape, featuring large-scale on-chain betting.
It is reported that Cambria's first mini-game, Cambria: Duel Arena, has seen over 700,000 battles on Blast in about 3 months, with stakes exceeding $88 million, all fully managed on-chain.
According to the Web3 asset data platform RootData, Cambria is a risk-oriented MMO game inspired by Runescape, featuring massive on-chain betting. In the game's first iteration, Gold Rush, players must engage in both economic and real-time PvP to acquire Blast Gold and ETH, competing fiercely for dominance in the game.
