ChainCatcher news, Animoca Brands announced that Animoca Brands Japan has invested 300 million yen (approximately 1.91 million USD) in the global anime community website and database MyAnimeList, and jointly announced with Animoca Brands Japan, San FranTokyo, and MyAnimeList to become the launch partner of the Anime Foundation, a cultural protocol for anime and manga communities across Web2 and Web3.It is reported that this partnership aims to create new opportunities and experiences for global fans, creators, studios, IP holders, and anime-inspired projects and brands. MyAnimeList has 16 million registered members.At the same time, the Anime Foundation will form a strategic alliance with Mocaverse, which will utilize Mocaverse's Realm Network interoperability SDK to launch Anime ID, a DID and reputation layer, to accelerate the development of the Web3 ecosystem.
