Survey: 1 in 5 American voters has traded, invested in, or used cryptocurrency
ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, a recent poll by Emerson College found that about one-fifth of American voters (19%) reported that they have invested in, traded, or used cryptocurrency at some point. The survey data, conducted from December 11 to December 13 with 1,000 registered voters, revealed that nearly 40% of respondents who use cryptocurrency have also made purchases with it.Spencer Kimball, the executive director of the poll, stated, "Cryptocurrency users are younger, with a larger base of minority groups, highlighting that cryptocurrency is a growing and diverse political support group. 57% of cryptocurrency users have a favorable view of Donald Trump."Additionally, the survey showed that respondents under 40 make up the largest proportion of cryptocurrency users, with nearly one-third having used cryptocurrency.
