The innovative power and industry participation of CESS showcased at the Japan Annual Crypto Startup Conference IVS 2024.

As a blockchain-based decentralized cloud storage network and CD²N infrastructure network, CESS became the highlight at the IVS 2024 Annual Crypto Startup Conference in Japan! This event, held in the historic city of Kyoto, attracted over 15,000 attendees around the theme of "Crossing Boundaries," including more than 3,000 founders, 1,500 investors, and 3,500 startups.

Highlights of the Event

At the IVS 2024 conference, CESS co-founder Joseph Li was invited to participate in a panel discussion in the main hall. He introduced attendees to the transformative potential of CESS and decentralized physical infrastructure (DePIN). Additionally, the panel discussed the critical role of computing power and data networks in the ever-evolving tech landscape. Joseph Li emphasized the increasingly important role of decentralized solutions in the Web3 ecosystem, stating:

"The decentralized Web3 revolution is accelerating and gradually replacing the slow, expensive, and centralized Web2. Now is a crucial moment for tech visionaries and builders to drive innovation, collaboration, and partnerships to advance the industry. CESS is built from the ground up to realize this important vision in the decentralized, user-owned Web3 and blockchain space."

Merging Innovation with Tradition

IVS 2024 is an event that merges Japan's traditional technological culture with global advanced technologies. The topics covered included global financing, cross-border e-commerce, artificial intelligence infrastructure, and personal data utilization, providing a comprehensive platform for discussions on technological development and the future.

Showcasing CESS's Innovation and Industry Engagement

During the panel discussion, Joseph Li highlighted CESS's pioneering efforts, including its approval of the IEEE Standard Number P3233 --- --- "Decentralized Storage Protocol Specification Based on Blockchain". This milestone underscores CESS's commitment to the standardization and innovation of decentralized storage technology.

Recently, CESS also announced its membership in the Blockchain Association in the United States, advocating for better and more transparent public policies for blockchain and crypto assets alongside industry leaders. This membership highlights CESS's dedication to fostering innovation and promoting the responsible development of blockchain technology.

Additionally, CESS is one of the directors of the Hong Kong Web3.0 Standardization Association. CESS stands out in the decentralized storage field through proprietary technology and numerous innovations. As a leading project in the third generation of decentralized cloud storage protocols, CESS effectively addresses key industry challenges such as low storage utilization and slow data retrieval speeds. The platform significantly enhances data security and privacy management, realizes data value and circulation, provides greater reliability, and empowers users with ownership of their data. This also represents a significant advancement in the future of data storage.

Driving the Development of the Web3 Ecosystem

As a gold sponsor of IVS 2024, CESS plays a key role in building a robust and collaborative Web3 ecosystem. Joseph Li also discussed the importance of DePIN in driving the global deployment of network nodes through innovative incentives. He pointed out:

"DePINs will allow different participants to share resources and build value in a secure, transparent, and scalable manner. Leveraging the data value network for seamless transactions, transfers, and use of digital assets in the Web3 space, DePIN and its underlying CESS network will become one of the most influential technologies in the coming years."

Showcasing CESS's Advanced Technology

At the IVS 2024 conference, CESS showcased its capabilities as the preferred decentralized cloud storage and decentralized content delivery network for Web3 applications. Innovations such as decentralized object storage (DeOSS) and multi-replica recoverable storage proof mechanism (PoDR²) were key highlights of the event, where the team demonstrated advanced data storage and retrieval solutions for high-frequency dynamic data. Key technologies include:

Randomized Selective Consensus (R²S)

R²S is an innovative consensus algorithm based on Polkadot GRANDPA and NPoS. R²S achieves low gas fees while significantly improving on-chain transaction processing efficiency and greatly decentralizing CESS's network nodes.

Multi-Replica Recoverable Storage Proof Mechanism (PoDR²)

PoDR² is a zero-trust data backup and recovery proof algorithm. PoDR² is used to prove the authenticity of data (i.e., to check and verify whether the data stored by the storage nodes is valid, exists, or has been modified) and to recover damaged or lost data segments. This mechanism ensures the integrity of data protection and mitigates the risk of file loss.

Proof of Idle Space (PoIS)

CESS introduces PoIS to implement processes such as certification, verification, and deletion of idle space in storage nodes. Proof of idle space organizes idle data in the form of files and uses Merkle hash trees to verify the integrity of each idle file.

Proxy Re-encryption (PReT)

PReT is a public key encryption scheme that allows user A to "delegate" his decryption rights to another user B. CESS introduces a decentralized proxy re-encryption mechanism that enables data owners to transfer data ownership between users without revealing the content of the data, maximizing the use value of data while ensuring privacy.

Multi-Type Data Rights Confirmation Mechanism (MDRC)

The CESS network processes data, including digital fingerprint extraction --- --- fingerprint on-chain --- --- fingerprint comparison, etc. The on-chain digital fingerprint serves as the unique proof of data ownership, and MDRC ensures the data rights confirmation on the CESS network, returning data ownership to the data owners.

CESS AI GAP

CESS AI GAP is a Byzantine-robust circuit that protects user privacy and data sovereignty, allowing participants in each CESS node to collaboratively train shared models without sharing their raw data.

Looking Ahead

These innovations, along with CESS's steadfast commitment to data sovereignty and user privacy, position it at a critical juncture in the Web3 revolution. By leveraging the DePIN concept to reshape the value distribution and free flow of data assets, CESS will continue to drive the large-scale adoption of decentralized storage and decentralized content delivery networks (CD²N) in Web3 applications.

CESS gained significant insights from the IVS 2024 crypto event, and looking to the future, CESS will continue to make progress in decentralized technology and actively engage in deep collaborations with innovative projects. Stay tuned!
