ChainCatcher message, zkSync Developers announced on social media that they will release the zkSync Node Beta version, which features a more streamlined setup process and lower hardware requirements. The zkSync node is a read-only replica of the main node, and anyone can run it.It is reported that this version will significantly improve developer experience features, allowing for a one-line Docker setup, synchronization with the main node, and operation on consumer-grade hardware.In addition, zkSync Developers stated that they are developing a pruning feature to reduce the storage space requirements of the zkSync Node Beta. In the long run, as part of decentralized work, this will allow the zkSync Node to act as a sorter and validator.
