ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee is continuing to draft a bill regarding the regulation of the cryptocurrency market. The items being discussed include a requirement for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to sign off before the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) defines tokens as digital commodities outside the jurisdiction of securities regulators.According to sources, negotiations are still ongoing, and parts of the bill may change before the vote. Other changes to the bill include the addition of a necessary report on decentralized cryptocurrency protocols to guide future regulation. (The Block)
