Additionally, Sotheby's sold the NFT "Ringers #879" created by digital artist Dmitri Cherniak for $6.2 million this year, setting the highest fee ever for a digital artwork.Sotheby's Vice President and Head of Digital Art Michael Bouhanna stated that Sotheby's will focus next year on "supporting creators and enhancing their primary market strategies."
