ChainCatcher news, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries Ltd. and Asia's richest man, announced on Monday that the company is entering the blockchain and central bank digital currency (CBDC) space. Reliance, under Ambani, is venturing into the financial sector through the newly launched financial services entity Jio Financial Services (JFS) earlier this month.

Chain Catcher news, asset management giant WisdomTree announced the launch of a short-term treasury digital fund WTSY, which will record its fund's equity on the Stellar or Ethereum blockchain for digitization. This product is expected to be launched in the coming months through the WisdomTree Prime digital wallet application.It is reported that WisdomTree currently manages approximately $75 billion in assets and first applied for the aforementioned digital fund in April 2021.
