ChainCatcher message, the web3 research institution TokenDance posted on the X platform that the X security team has completed a preliminary investigation into the account breach incident involving the U.S. SEC. The leak occurred because an unidentified person controlled the phone number associated with the #SCEGOV account. Additionally, at the time of the breach, the account did not have two-factor authentication enabled.
