BNB Chain releases the BNB Greenfield technical roadmap
ChainCatcher news, BNB Chain has released the BNB Greenfield technical roadmap, aimed at improving performance, enhancing the developer experience, and expanding multi-chain capabilities. The roadmap is primarily based on three key principles: high performance, simplified developer experience, and multi-chain platform, including:Increasing SP upload and download speeds by 5 times, from 2MB/s to 10MB/s and from 20MB/s to 100MB/s; compatibility with popular Web2 and Web3 standards to simplify the developer experience; introducing rich storage features, including resource tagging, indexing, simplified data migration, and atomic updates of objects; providing robust infrastructure through a multi-chain platform for full-chain or decentralized applications (dApps), achieving cross-chain programmability with opBNB and EVM-compatible chains; Greenfield will also be positioned as the foundational data availability (DA) layer for the opBNB and NB Smart Chain ecosystems.Greenfield will also address challenges related to artificial intelligence (AI), including ownership, transparency, and innovation, by integrating it with Web3 on the BNB Chain. Additionally, Greenfield will enable smart contracts as resource owners between Q4 2023 and Q1 2024 to better control permissions on BSC/opBNB.
