MetaMask has integrated Blockaid-supported security alert services for multi-chain wallet users
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, the crypto wallet MetaMask announced the default integration of Blockaid-supported security alert services across multiple chains, ensuring that users automatically receive alerts about potential malicious transactions. This security alert was first launched on the Ethereum mainnet through the plugin wallet at the end of last month and is now available for mobile and plugin wallet users on the following networks: Linea, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Avalanche.It is reported that Blockaid was founded in 2022 and provides a suite of tools to simulate transactions before execution, protecting integrated wallets like MetaMask and DApps such as OpenSea, Zerion, and Rainbow from phishing incidents and hacker attacks. Last year, the company raised $33 million from firms including Ribbit, Variant, and Sequoia.
