ChainCatcher news, Polygon's modular blockchain project Avail has open-sourced a new prototype of the Optimism EVM (OpEVM) software development kit (SDK), allowing developers to build sovereign, EVM-compatible Optimistic Rollups using OpEVM. This technology provides developers with decentralized infrastructure to run on L2, supports decentralized sequencer sets, eliminates the need to establish embedded cross-chain bridges on L1, and truly verifies state transitions in an Optimistic manner.It is reported that OpEVM is built on top of the Avail data availability layer, which can help create Rollups that operate independently of smart contracts. OpEVM is a collaborative project between Avail and Equilibrium Group, and the OpEVM prototype has its limitations and is not yet production-ready.

According to ChainCatcher news, the ApeCoin DAO community has initiated a new proposal AIP-123 vote. This proposal aims to build an APE ecosystem website called Apeverse, which will timely convey APE-related information to ApeCoin holders. In addition, Apeverse will bring more utilities to ApeCoin, including payment and membership systems, while supporting the sale of derivatives that utilize the ApeCoin payment system.According to the proposal, the Apeverse ecosystem website requires $164,000 in startup funding to cover the first year's expenses, and it plans to reach a break-even point after one year.
