Nigeria SEC issues new rules and compliance plan for digital assets

In an official notice released to the public, the SEC outlined its plans to update these important regulations.As part of this regulatory reform, the SEC has launched a special compliance program called the "Accelerated Regulatory Incubation Program" (ARIP). This program is specifically designed for Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASP), who must complete their applications within 30 days from the date of the announcement.
