ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Polygon and the PayPal-backed startup Magic Labs announced on Thursday that they will launch a new cross-chain network called Newton. The platform aims to make the experience of using decentralized applications (dapps) across multiple blockchains as seamless as browsing the internet.By leveraging Polygon's decentralized AggLayer and Chain Development Kit, Newton will enable developers to build dapps that operate across chains without users needing to hold different wallets.This initiative marks a step towards what Magic Labs calls "chain unification," similar to the ACH or SWIFT standardization in traditional financial systems. If this technological standard gains traction, it could help address the "blockchain island" problem, which disperses liquidity and complicates the user experience in crypto.

ChainCatcher news, modular AI chain 0G Labs announced the launch of its testnet Newton on the X platform, allowing users to participate through three methods: Storage Node, Validator Node, and Disperser/Retriever Service.In previous news, 0G announced the completion of a $35 million Pre-Seed round of financing, led by Hack VC, with participation from Alliance, Animoca Brands, Delphi Digital, Stanford Builders Fund, Symbolic Capital, and OKX Ventures.
