ChainCatcher news, Web3 game infrastructure NPC Labs has completed $21 million in pre-seed and seed round financing. The seed round was led by Pantera Capital, with participation from Hashed, Makers Fund, Collab+Currency, Sfermion, Mirana Ventures, Bitscale Capital, and Mantle EcoFund.NPC Labs was co-founded by three former Coinbase employees, aiming to increase the adoption of on-chain gaming through the B3.fun platform built on Base.

ChainCatcher news, according to Decrypt, the metaverse platform Decentraland announced a partnership with virtual character development company Inworld to introduce AI-driven NPCs (non-player characters) within the platform using its technology.It is reported that Decentraland will allow creators to autonomously design NPCs in the virtual world, including configuring background stories, environmental information, and motivations, as well as controlling language style, voice, personality, and more.
