DappRadar will re-statistics the user data of Decentraland, including daily active users (DAU), etc
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, the blockchain data platform DappRadar outlined in its latest report the statistical method for counting "active users" interacting with dApps, including the metaverse platform Decentraland.According to DappRadar, the statistics track the number of unique active wallets (UAW), the number of transactions, and the transaction volume across dApps, meaning users need to perform blockchain transactions to be included in the statistics. DappRadar typically does not track any dApp activity outside the blockchain ecosystem, which may lead to discrepancies between its statistics and those of the dApp itself.DappRadar's statistical method is based on smart contracts submitted by developers. The Decentraland team is currently updating the list of smart contracts, so the number of smart contracts tracked by DappRadar will expand from 13 to over 3000, and it will re-statistic Decentraland user data, including daily active users (DAU), etc.It is reported that prior to this news, CoinDesk released a report showing that the number of active users on Decentraland in the past 24 hours last Friday was only 38. Decentraland questioned this data, arguing that "active users" refer to "people who enter Decentraland and leave the spawn point," claiming that its platform's average daily active users reach 8000.
