ChainCatcher news, entertainment technology company KINO has completed over $2 million in pre-seed funding, with participation from Sequoia Capital, Slow Ventures, Metaweb Ventures, Genius Ventures, NEAR, Blockchain Founders Fund, and others.KINO will introduce a community-based economic model to the entertainment industry, providing filmmakers with technological tools to attract fans and foster interaction.

ChainCatcher news, according to Friday's court filings, former CEO of the decentralized blockchain infrastructure Algorand, Steve Kokinos, will take over as CEO of Celsius and serve on the board. Additionally, the board members include two co-chairs of the Celsius creditors' committee, Scott Duffy and Thomas DiFiore, the chairman of the holding company managing the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers, Frederick Arnold, the head of the audit committee at commercial real estate company WeWork, Elizabeth LaPuma, and investment banker Emmanuel Aidoo from Perella Weinberg.It is reported that Kokinos left Algorand in July 2022 and is also a co-owner of Fahrenheit.
