The Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) is currently taking measures to prevent attacks before they occur.Between October 2023 and September 30 of this year, HSI has thwarted 150 ransomware schemes, bringing the total to 537 incidents since the operation began in 2021. Additionally, HSI has seized cryptocurrency worth $4.3 billion since 2021.

Meanwhile, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is also investigating the incident.
