Web3 is a young and rapidly evolving ecosystem that the world is embracing at a record pace. In recent years, the booming development of Web3 has attracted attention from various companies and individuals around the globe. The future development blueprint can be seen from the interview data of Fortune 500 executives. According to the data, nearly 94% of surveyed Fortune 500 executives indicated that they have blockchain project plans. 89% of Fortune 500 executives believe that Web3 innovations in the next 10 years will define the business landscape for the next 100 years. According to Crunchbase data, the total investment reached over $23 billion in 2022.
This data indicates that Web3 is gradually entering the mainstream and being accepted by the world. However, as an emerging industry, many people do not have a sufficient understanding of Web3.
To address this, the Web3 startup incubator OnePiece Labs, in collaboration with Harvard alumni entrepreneurs, has established a partnership for a series of thought leadership events on Web3, hosting a forward-looking and leadership-focused "Web3 Revolution" lecture series over several months. They stated that this series is aimed at anyone interested in Web3, whether curious newcomers or experienced experts.
This groundbreaking series will provide insights from Harvard alumni and other world-class experts in Web3 technology, sharing their predictions on its potential to transform social life. The series will be hosted by partners KJ Jia and Murray Newlands, in collaboration with Yintai Investment LLC. Market partnerships will be supported by ChainTimes, along with a strategic partnership with MetaStone.Group.

OnePiece Lab partner KJ Jia stated: "Through this collaboration, OnePiece Lab is able to bring its deep industry knowledge to Harvard alumni entrepreneurs. As Silicon Valley investors focused on Web3, we observe innovative technologies and visionary founders every day, providing unparalleled insights into the future of this field that we can share. Our perspective is comprehensive, having provided initial support to many startups that have become unicorns."
OnePiece Lab partner Murray Newlands said: "Silicon Valley is at the forefront of technological innovation in the world. Its first rise began in the 1970s, related to the essential silicon transistors of modern microprocessors. Web3 and AI are the two most exciting advancements in recent years. The spirit of Web3 is about the democratization and decentralization of information, and we are excited to share our views with Harvard alumni entrepreneurs."
Speakers:
Chia Jeng Yang, an investor at Pantera Capital, stated: "As a member of the Harvard Business School Blockchain Club, I have always been excited about the numerous Harvard Business School and Harvard alumni who are continuously breaking new ground in the blockchain and crypto space.
These events are a great opportunity to share more knowledge about the blockchain and crypto industry within and beyond the Harvard community. Introducing market trends, business models, and participants in the field to industry insiders is a good way for mainstream builders to enter the blockchain and crypto space."
Brandon Hoffman, managing partner of Sunset Ventures, said: "I am thrilled to speak in this series as part of my ongoing efforts to introduce Web3 to the Harvard student and alumni, investor, and founder community. These events will help people better understand the next era of the internet and begin to seek out others with the same passion and curiosity. I hope the audience will learn about the groundbreaking innovations happening and the broader opportunities that lie ahead. I also believe they will realize that Web3 is not just a speculative investment in volatile cryptocurrencies. I predict that regulatory decisions will begin to be made, clarifying what blockchain and digital assets can and cannot do. This will positively impact market sentiment and the builders who will receive guidance."
