ChainCatcher news, according to the governance page, the ENSDAO community has initiated a proposal vote for "Upgrading DNSSEC Support," aimed at promoting ENS Labs to deploy a new version of the DNSSEC oracle and DNS registrar.It is reported that this version combines wildcard resolution (ENSIP 10) and CCIP-Read to achieve the "Gasless DNSSEC" feature, allowing the use of DNS domain names within ENS without the need for on-chain transactions.

ChainCatcher news, ENS chief developer nick.eth stated on X that he has submitted a proposal draft to upgrade the DNSSEC functionality of ENS to support the new Gasless DNSSEC.Gasless DNSSEC will allow anyone with a DNS name to enable it in ENS by setting a DNS text record. Setting the correctly formatted text record will immediately configure the name so that it can be resolved in any application that supports ENS.
