ChainCatcher news, at the ongoing ETHDenver event, Web3 hardware company JDI announced a partnership with the decentralized vehicle connectivity project DIMO to launch a new hardware brand, HashDog, providing cost-effective DIMO devices. It is reported that the decentralized vehicle connectivity project DIMO aims to help car owners realize the assetization and autonomy of vehicle data through Web3 hardware, allowing users to better control driving data and potentially earn rewards from driving data. Currently, over 5,000 vehicles are connected to the DIMO network, covering more than 40 common car brands, and car owners can access data on battery, smart insurance, vehicle health, car sharing, and more through the DIMO app.JDI stated that it hopes to help accelerate the expansion of the DIMO network through this collaboration. By purchasing HashDog devices and connecting them to the vehicle's data port (known as the OBD2 port), users can collect and share verified data from IoT devices (their cars) to prove that certain events occurred in the real world. The DIMO devices provided by HashDog offer greater stability and accurate positioning, supporting customers to more easily join the "Drive to Earn" trend. ( Source link )
