The report indicates that the ECB will conduct an online survey targeting small merchants and vulnerable consumers in the coming months, with results expected to be published in mid-2025.The ECB stated that it will collaborate with key stakeholders, including merchants, payment service providers, fintech companies, and universities, to establish innovative partnerships to test conditional digital euro payments.Meanwhile, the European Central Bank has also completed a call for applications launched in January this year to select potential digital euro components and related service providers. The results of this process will be published on the ECB's website after finalization in 2025.
