Sol Strategies announces the acquisition of three blockchain validation nodes and related assets
ChainCatcher news, Canadian blockchain investment company Sol Strategies announced plans to acquire three blockchain validation nodes and related assets. This transaction will increase the delegated amount by 554,714 SOL, with a total value of 174.7 million CAD.The company expects this move to generate a net income of 2.6 million CAD annually. After the transaction is completed, the total delegated amount of the company's validation nodes will reach 1,493,378 SOL, valued at 470.4 million CAD.The transaction includes a cash payment of 750,000 USD (or equivalent SOL/USDC), along with up to 5.75 million USD in common stock issuance (depending on performance targets). The completion of the transaction requires approval from the Canadian Securities Exchange and does not involve any intermediary fees.It is reported that previously, Sol Strategies acquired four validation nodes from Cogent Crypto, adding 699,012 SOL (valued at 203.7 million USD), and the ranking of validation nodes jumped from 174th to 83rd. The company has also expanded its validation business in blockchain ecosystems such as SUI, MONAD, and ARCH, further consolidating its position in the industry.
