ChainCatcher message, Abstract previously disclosed that the ecological application Cardex encountered a security vulnerability attack. After completing an initial security audit, its team accidentally exposed the private key of the session signer on its website's front end. In response, Cardex confirmed on platform X that it has been attacked in connection with the session key leak. They are currently working with the Abstract team to trace the flow of stolen funds and the recovery situation, and will disclose the details of the incident later.

ChainCatcher message, Ethereum Layer 2 protocol Loopring stated on social media: "A few hours ago, some Loopring smart wallets encountered a security vulnerability attack. This attack specifically targeted wallets with only one Guardian, especially those using the official Loopring Guardian. The hacker initiated the recovery process, impersonating the wallet owner to reset ownership and withdraw assets.This attack successfully compromised the Loopring protocol's 2FA service, allowing the hacker to impersonate the wallet owner and obtain recovery approval from the official Guardian. Subsequently, the attacker transferred assets out of the affected wallets.We are actively collaborating with Mist security experts to determine how our 2FA service was compromised. To protect our users, we have temporarily suspended Guardian-related and 2FA-related operations. Following this action, the attack has ceased.The protocol is working with law enforcement and professional security teams to track down the attackers. Once the investigation makes progress, we will continue to provide updates."
