Starknet released the roadmap for the first half of the year, planning to launch version v0.13.4 in February
ChainCatcher news, Starknet has released the roadmap for Q1 and Q2, expecting to launch version v0.13.4 in February 2025. The main features of this version include state compression, L2 gas fees, and a try/catch mechanism for function call failures. It may also include native support for Cairo (from Sierra to LLVM) and a nonce channel, with the expected effects of reducing costs, improving user and developer experience, and enhancing performance.In addition, Starknet will launch version v0.14.0 in the second quarter of 2025, with major updates including 2-second block times, memory pool optimization, and a fee market mechanism, introducing a distributed sorter architecture and Stwo integration. Starknet will also initiate staking phase 2 in the second quarter of 2025, where validators will begin to validate blocks, aiming to promote further decentralization.
