Analyst: Without staking, institutional interest in spot Ethereum ETFs will weaken
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, cryptocurrency derivatives trader Gordon Grant stated that the appeal of spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds to institutional investors will diminish before the staking feature becomes available, and many may wait to allocate to such funds until staking is approved. In the meantime, institutional traders will turn to on-chain solutions.Grant noted that, unlike Bitcoin, directly holding Ethereum may offer institutional investors more significant yield advantages than a spot Ether ETF.
