ChainCatcher message, CertiK Alert data shows that due to the theft of $305 million worth of Bitcoin from the Japanese cryptocurrency exchange DMM Bitcoin, May recorded the largest monthly loss of 2024. The loss event at DMM Bitcoin is the sixth largest recorded in the past three years, with losses reaching approximately $821 million since the beginning of this year.
