Blockspace Charters enable informed decision-making regarding protocol upgrades while considering potential differences between different types of chains and grouping similar chains together.Additionally, Optimism stated that it is developing a native interoperability standard that allows for fault proofing across multiple chains simultaneously, and is also developing an asynchronous communication framework to simplify the use of interoperability features, integrating relayers, intents, and more.
