According to ChainCatcher's message, the GMX community has initiated a proposal vote on the Snapshot governance page to "change the income distribution model to buy back and distribute GMX," suggesting to alter the current income distribution model from "buying back ETH and distributing ETH" to "buying back GMX and distributing GMX."The proposal states that this change aims to leverage the advantages of "buybacks" to enhance GMX's long-term value retention capability, optimize user experience and protocol strategic flexibility, while minimizing model changes and fully retaining the advantages of "real yield."
