ChainCatcher News, U.S. Representatives Zach Nunn and Abigail Spanberger jointly introduced the "Creating Liability for Innovators and Technology Act" (CLARITY), which prohibits federal government officials from conducting business with Chinese blockchain companies, prohibits government employees from using the underlying networks of Chinese blockchain or cryptocurrency trading platforms, and explicitly prohibits U.S. government officials from trading with Tether's parent company iFinex.In addition, the bill also prohibits officials from trading with The Spartan Network, The Conflux Network, and Red Date Technology.
