ChainCatcher news, K33 Research senior analyst Vetle Lunde stated that the CME Bitcoin futures open interest reached a nominal all-time high yesterday, totaling 172,430 BTC. With the significant increase in open interest, the futures premium has risen to a 5-month high.The analyst believes that the growth in open interest is driven by active/direct market participants, rather than inflows from futures-based ETFs.

ChainCatcher news, Lin Chen, the Head of APAC Business at Deribit, posted on platform X stating that Deribit data shows the premium for ETH year-end delivery futures is still over 15%, while BTC is at 13.5%. In addition, the borrowing rate for U is still at 20%.

ChainCatcher news, Deribit Asia Pacific Business Head LinChen tweeted that the futures premium for BTC and ETH on CME has reached around 1.5%, close to the market conditions during the bull run in March 2021, "the market is voting with its feet to tell you how certain everyone is about the approval of the spot ETF."
