Sunil urges all FTX creditors to remain vigilant against such scams.

ChainCatcher news, FTX creditor representative Sunil posted on social media that Kraken has begun sending emails to FTX users, confirming that the next round of FTX payout distribution is scheduled for May 30, 2025. This distribution covers claims both below and above $50,000.

ChainCatcher news, FTX creditor representative Sunil revealed that currently many FTX claim users come from jurisdictions that are temporarily unable to participate in the distribution, including: Russia, China, Egypt, Nigeria, and Ukraine. FTX is reviewing relevant solutions. Among them, the number of users from China is the largest, accounting for 8% of the total customer base.

According to the plan, the first round of repayments will be aimed at creditors with claims below $50,000, totaling approximately $1.2 billion. FTX requires creditors to complete claims registration and other pre-allocation requirements by January 20, and the first round of repayments is expected to start on February 25, with the allocation period possibly lasting until March 4.
