The report indicates that these emails were sent in June and July to "individuals associated with the Biden campaign," when Biden was still the Democratic candidate. The FBI discovered this "unsolicited" evidence during its investigation into election interference. Government statements noted that these emails "contained excerpts from non-public materials stolen from former President Trump's campaign as the email text."The Harris campaign team issued a statement saying they were the "victims" of the hacking attack.
