Coinbase Singapore requires users to provide transaction counterpart information when depositing or withdrawing cryptocurrency
ChainCatcher message, Coinbase Singapore users must provide additional counterparty information when initiating cryptocurrency deposits or withdrawals from their accounts starting September 5. Coinbase Singapore stated that these measures are being implemented to comply with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulations on anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism.When receiving cryptocurrency deposits from outside its platform, Coinbase Singapore also requires users to provide information about the sender, including full name and country/region of residence. Coinbase stated that if users fail to provide the required information, they will not be able to process the user's cryptocurrency transactions.
