ChainCatcher news, five U.S. law enforcement agencies have officially announced the establishment of a special task force targeting dark web markets and digital currency crimes, combating related criminal activities such as drug trafficking, money laundering, identity theft, and child exploitation.The five law enforcement agencies include the U.S. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Arizona, the U.S. Attorney's Office, the U.S. Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, which signed a memorandum of understanding regarding the new task force last week.
