Toyota Group issues its first blockchain bond ST bond, totaling 1 billion yen
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinPost, Toyota Financial Services announced on February 10 the issuance of the group's first blockchain-secured token bond (ST bond), totaling 1 billion yen, with a term of one year. The project is jointly promoted by Toyota Financial, Toyota Finance, Daiwa Securities, Mitsubishi UFJ Bank, Mitsubishi UFJ Trust Bank, and Progmat.This bond issuance utilizes Progmat's digital asset management platform and is linked with Toyota's smart payment application "TOYOTA Wallet." Investors can subscribe at 100,000 yen per unit, with the subscription period from February 20 to 27, and the issuance date on March 3.Based on the subscription amount, investors can receive TOYOTA Wallet balance rewards ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 yen. Daiwa Securities serves as the underwriter, and Mitsubishi UFJ Bank acts as the bond administrator.
